These words echo the tradition of this prestigious local fraternity that dates back to 1921.

OGO's history at Moravian University is well-established. As an organization, we are committed to improving the lives of people around us. On-campus and off-campus, we strive to be men of excellence. We are leaders and achievers; we embrace the opportunity for internal growth. We've created a brotherhood of men of all creeds, backgrounds, and cultures because we believe everyone deserves a chance to be the best for themselves and the world around them.

A brief history of Omicron Gamma Omega

1920 - Omicron Gamma Omega was founded at the University of Virginia, Alpha chapter


1921 - OGO founder transferred to Moravian college, Beta chapter

1949 - OGO obtains the mascot of Moravian, OGO the greyhound, OGO won

1954 - Moravian Greek life becomes Co-ed, female sororities appear on campus

1955 - Anthony "Monk" Morelli joins Omicron Gamma Omega

1957 - OGO becomes first fraternity to receive a permanent address on campus, 1305-1307 Main Street

1961 - OGO cannon is built

1965 - James Paul transfers to Millersville University forming the Gamma chapter

1984 - A new OGO sign is added to the rear of the house

2000 - OGO is removed from campus

2003 - OGO is re-founded on campus

2005 - First on campus residence in 5 years is established at Burnside B. New ogo crest is purchased. The OGO greyhound tradition is revived.

2010 - OGO obtains new residence. Hillside 6A.

2021- OGO, beta chapter celebrates its100th anniversary!
